Assessment
Psychological assessment involves integrating and interpreting information
and data from several sources with the aim of providing a comprehensive and
useful picture of one or more aspects of a person. I provide assessment
services to:
■ Help disability agencies, insurance companies, or other related
organizations gain a useful, objective perspective on a person's psychological
or cognitive (memory, thinking, decision-making) functioning following an injury
or resulting from conditions that prevent the person from performing work or
daily life activities.
■ Help other mental health service providers gain a clearer, more
comprehensive "clinical picture" of a client or patient to whom they provide
treatment. This assists the provider in developing more effective treatment
plans.
