Psychotherapy Methods
There are literally hundreds of documented ways of doing psychotherapy. No
one yet has shown conclusively that any method is more effective than any
other. I use what is called an "integrative" or "eclectic" approach. This means that
I view you and your problems from several different perspectives, then use
methods that make sense for you at the moment and that you agree to in
advance. I select these methods from a variety of theoretical models.
I believe it is important for you to know about the common factors of effective
therapy, which I integrate into my approach.
You may also want to know more about the theoretical models from which I
borrow perspectives and methods.
