How to Pronounce "Metevier"
Metevier is a misspelled, mispronounced French surname. I
understand it is fairly common in France, but spelled Metivier.
They pronounce it "meh-tee-vee-yay."
My grandfather changed the spelling and pronunciation to
sound "more American." My family now pronounces our
name: "meh-tee-vee-er."
Just call me "Dan."
